Lake Lodge
The main homestead at Lake Mystique provides accommodation of an excellent standard for groups and families. All the comforts of home in beautiful surroundings.
The four-bedroomed, modern house contains every home comfort, from Sky TV in the lounge area to a washing machine and dishwasher in the fully-fitted kitchen. Hot water is readily available, mains electric connected and there is piped gas to the full cooker with hob and oven.
Kitchen area
The Lake Mystique house kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to make self-catering holidays super-easy:
- Full-sized oven and hob
- Microwave and toaster
- Dishwasher
- Full-sized fridge-freezer
- Breakfast bar & Dolce Gusto coffee machine
- Washing machine
- Glasses, crockery and cutlery
- Stove-top kettle
Dining area
The ground floor is laid out in open-plan style, with kitchen, dining and lounge areas combined. The area is spacious and light, with views of the lake from all the windows, and plenty of space to move about.
The dining area seats up to six people comfortably, and is well-positioned for dinner service, at the same end as the kitchen and breakfast bar.
All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided, as are the pots and pans.
Alternatively, on the best weather days, guests can enjoy eating outside. A large wooden bench and table set is provided just outside the front door and there is a barbecue and seating area closer to the lake bank.
Lounge area
In between fishing, lake walks and eating experiences, guests may want to relax in front of the TV. The comfortable lounge area has a corner sofa and a wood-burning fire keeps it cosy inside, whatever the weather.
WiFi is available in all areas (both inside and outside, around the lake). There is also a TV with UK channels.
The house offers spacious accommodation for our guests to enjoy. It is a place where family and friends can relax with all the facilities for self-catering, and home-from-home comforts.
All our accommodation is situated on the ground floor, with the bedrooms and bathroom located at the rear of the house, leading off the open-plan living area.
A hot tub out on the patio area will be the latest luxury for our guests in 2023. An above-ground splash pool is also available during the summer months.
Bedrooms
All three downstairs bedrooms are spacious and light, and have double beds, plenty of clothes storage and double-glazed window overlooking the rear of the property. Bed linen is provided, but please bring your own towels.
Bedroom four has a double bed and is upstairs in the loft room. Two additional pull-out camp beds are available at no additional charge.
Family Bathroom
The family-sized bathroom is located on the ground floor at the rear of the house, reached from the lounge area.
Finished to a high standard, the bathroom has:
- Shower
- Bath
- Low level toilet
- Wash basin
- Radiator
Please bring your own personal-use towels.
Please do not wash or rinse muddy clothers or fishing gear in the house bathroom. Ask us if you require this facility.
